Although very few people will have had a “true good time” of late, the swish, Prince-reminiscent comeback track of NZCA LINES – very aptly dubbed Pure Luxury – definitely lifted the mood a little. And full-length reporting, by the same name, will again do likewise. Very Good Time, lifted from it, hears Michael Lovett go on exploring funkadelic rhythms, pure searing falsetto.
